If you’ll remember, I have 3 boys. 3 boys means many, many, many years of scouting. I knew at some point in time I’d be a den mother. This is that time. Logan will turn 8 in the fall but in the meantime I get to work with the Wolves (8-year-old boys) and he gets to tag along for the fun of it. Our new ward actually takes the Summer off from cub scouts. Still not sure how that works, but I’m not complaining. The only scouting we do have is Cub Scout Day Camp. Even though Logan was not eligible to attend, I still wanted to be able to go so I could get to know my boys a little better. It was actually quite fun. I got to know the leaders so much better and had a great time with my cute little Wolves! I was quickly reminded how cheesy cub scout events are, so once I get into the sprit of the cheesiness it was bearable :). Oh, and to make Dave smile I even shot the BB gun.
I was only able to attend this all day event because Dave worked from home and friends and family helped with the kids.
And even though I was absent from home that day, the kids and I have spent quite a bit of time together in the last 3 weeks doing some fun stuff . . . .
