Last week we had a bit of Winter right in the middle of Spring.
One day we were working in the yard pulling out weeds, pruning and getting excited to plant. The next we were digging out snow boots, gloves and coats. Such is life in Utah during what we like to call “Wring.” Dave couldn’t even make it to work on the big storm day, it’s like people forget how to drive.
It was fun to have a day inside baking and drinking hot chocolate, and then getting back out in the yard the next day!
As if having Winter in the middle of Spring wasn’t fun enough, Audra, Eli and I were able to attend Conner’s 6th grade D.A.R.E. graduation. It was an hour and 15 mins of non-stop fun. NOT! Oh man was it painful, but we won’t tell Conner. I totally think the whole DARE program is great, but I also think a 15 min graduation would be sufficient :)! Hard to believe this one of the last things Conner will participate in during Elementary School.
