We have an 11-year-old who is very curious and wants to understand EVERYTHING (it’s exhausting sometimes). He recently wondered why at Dave’s work, Adobe, they have a climbing wall, basketball courts, a video game room, and other “fun” stuff? Dave simply told him it was because they valued their employees and want them to stick around – the more “benefits” they have, the more likely employees will want to stay.
One of these “benefits” is an annual kids day – basically, a big carnival. Last week we were all registered and given matching T-shirts, and official name badges to wear (that was actually the kids favorite part). We enjoyed a morning of bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, bird shows, yummy food, and fun with daddy! The kids looked forward to this day all week and it didn’t disappoint. It seems we all appreciate the perks of working for Adobe! And Logan might even make an appearance on an upcoming video featuring Adobe’s new Ink & Slide…..
