[ the return ]

What are the chances that the job Dave loves just happens to have an office in the same country he served his mission?
Coincidence?  I think not.
He’s known this since he started and he has of course been anxious to visit this office.
New baby and life didn’t permit such a trip until now!
Hours after arriving home from California, Dave boarded an airplane headed to Bucharest, Romania!! Well, technically there was a broken airplane, a delayed flight, a cancelled flight and several taxi rides to and from the airport and then finally a new itinerary including many layovers.  But he made it.  His first time back since returning from his mission over 16 years ago.

As much as I would have liked to stow away in his luggage and go with him, it’s not in the cards right now.  Something tells me he’ll be going back.

It has been a long 9 days.  Logan hasn’t helped the time pass with this constant questioning of how many more days?  We’ve all missed him, but he has literally been in heaven.
I’ve missed Dave’s help, his support and having him in our home!
At times I’ve felt like this little beauty climbing a rock all by myself.  Dealing with 4 kids and life continuously with no breaks.  But I really haven’t been alone.  I’ve had SO much help from family, neighbors and friends.
Can’t wait to see him later today.  To catch up, hear his stories, watch the kids eyes light up when they see him, and to get some sleep!
