. convo .

Since Logan and I are the 2 of the 3 who can carry on a conversation during the day (although we love listening to Audra chatter up a storm), I have learned he is quite the chatterbox.  I love watching him grow and develop in his language; and right now he has a few terms he is fond of.

– He is in the habit of starting most sentences with: “Hey, I know something…”  It could end with anything from “we went to the store,” to “I want to play with my cars.”  Cracks me up.

– He also loves, LOVES to have me ask him a question so he can answer it in his tricky, little way:
ME:  Logan, what did you have for dinner?
L:  Mommy, say don’t say chicken.
ME:  Whatever you say, don’t say chicken.
L:  (with a smirk on his face and very slowly) C h i c k e n…. (laughing, laughing)

This is how he answers most of my questions, so I always have to be on my toes ready to be silly :-)!

He also refers to anytime in the future as “next week.”  This could mean in an hour, or the next day.  It’s very difficult to explain time to him.  And while we’re on the subject, he refers to “before” as “after.”  “After I go to bed can I have a drink?”  Sometimes it can be tricky to figure out what he wants and what he’s saying, but it’s always entertaining.

You will find as you look back upon your life
that the moments when you have truly lived
are the moments when you have done things
in the spirit of {love}.
