Did I mention that Logan turned 2?  Seems only fitting that he have 2 birthday celebrations; and party he/we did!

We were lucky enough to have G&G Mac here for the weekend, and Sara & Lucian all the way from Hawaii.  Since they couldn’t be with us on Sunday, we had fun with them all day Saturday and opened presents that night.

Sunday was birthday day!!  We had my family over for dinner, cake & presents.  I actually woke Logan up from his nap, so it took him a bit to really get into the celebration.  He had a great day, and it was such a joy to watch his enthusiasm over the cake, presents, and attention!

He practiced blowing out the candles for days, but got upset when Conner swept in to "help."

I love doing birthdays with my kids!  Certainly a highlight of the year; and this was such a fun age to celebrate.  Dave and I decided that instead of getting presents for Logan, which would just end up being more toys to pick up :-), we would do family pictures and fun pictures of the boys…..stay tuned to see those!

  1. Happy #2 big boy! That picture of Conner blowing out the candles and Logan crying is so tragic. Good capture. Great idea for a present for him–there can only be so many toys in one house! Hope your family is doing well.
