It’s that wonderful time of year when we get to enjoy the fruits, or veggies, of our labors.
Last year we had zucchini coming out our eyeballs, which left Dave wondering why there was anyone starving in the world. This year, we just recently picked our first few.
Last year, we enjoyed many a cucumber. This year, once again we’ve just picked the first!
Last year we had TOO many cherry tomatoes. This year we have WAY TOO many cherry tomatoes, which has me telling Conner to remind me next year we only need TWO tomato plants TOTAL! Lucky for me, I have a very willing gardener/tomato picker.
We also have thoroughly enjoyed our delicious green beans and are looking forward to broccoli, carrots, squash and pumpkins!
Even though the weather this year hindered our bounty, it is always fun to put some faith in the ground by planting a seed and then see what it grows into!
